Welcome to Tek Heroes!
Tek Heroes is a new type of company that offers everything from PC services to the creation custom electronics/software and supporting people that want to build custom electronics in their home. We have a greater level of expertise than standard PC repair buisnesses and therefore can help you with any technology related needs whether it be for your home or business. We also perform these services at a fraction of the cost of other outfits.
We live at a time where it is possible to create custom electronics relatively easy and for a low cost right in your own home. One of the goals of this business is to make people aware of how easy it is to get started and to bring this new age of electronics to everyone. You don't need specialized skills or higher level degrees to make something that is just fun or that can aid you in everyday life. Our focus is to show people how they can modify any electronic device or create a brand new one without losing your mind or breaking the bank. We understand that technology is always changing and broad in spectrum, and therefore we cannot possibly list all the services we are capable of offering. Please do not hesitate to inquire about technology related services we do not have listed. If it involves electronics or software we can probably help. We have helped people do everything from convert VHS videos to streaming videos in an on demand style to creating control systems for Zune/IPod MP3 players (remote control, interface to car steering wheel controls, zune to ipod conversion systems, etc.). We will then contact you to setup a time to pickup your equipment or perform services during the hours listed below. It is not required that you supply a detailed account of the service you need. We simply require your name and contact information so that we may get in touch as soon as possible. Please make us aware of the urgency of your request so that we may act accordingly. Be sure to provide either a phone or email address so that we may contact you to answer questions, schedule services or pickup.

Don't download anything unless it is from a site you know and trust. You wouldn't take candy from a stranger would you?
Always do a custom/advanced installation and make sure they don't sneak anything in.
Blind searching is like wandering around a city. Soon or later you're going to run into a bad part of town. Stick to what you came for and be weary when exploring.
Most electronics failures are a result of some sort of connection issue, dust buildup or needing a simple reboot. If you truly want to reboot an electronic device unplug it and wait a minute or so (let those capacitors discharge). Also make sure to clean excessive dust build up to prevent overheating. Last but not least, make sure all your connections are clean and solid.
It is free and easy. You will be better protected from attacks against other versions and the webpages companies/individuals design will look the way they are supposed to!
When it comes to building systems and finding quality electronics and detailed reviews I just can't beat newegg.
This site is just one of those places I have to check everyday. You never know what kind of great deals people are going to dig up and post on this site.
Invaluable company that sells electronic parts. Can be very overwhelming unless you come into it knowing what you are looking for, but it is one of the best electronic parts distributors I know of.
Tons of great electronics parts, great deals and some unique pieces.
I love amazon. I buy tons of used books on a range of topics for cheap. I also love the kindle. It is a great device with unique strengths and a ton of potential. Currently we are devloping several applications for the kindle that will be released in the coming months.
